Jacob Skaggs Straight from the twisted creative minds of the Sllim Pilgrim and Ze'ev (Redd) this collection of atmospheric jazz metal is sure to impress as the Dumbphones continue to build on their premier album Redd Sllim with a strong sophomore effort, The Album. Les Claypool better watch out as this duo is a rising force to be reckoned with in the arockalypse genre. Favorite track: Radiation Tune.

about

The Album... arose out of loud magic and a Curse from the Evil Fetus Amulet. The mystery still bewilders us, still causes us suffering... Soon after the Amulet was lost it began to communicate with us through dream messages... We then realized that the Amulet was releasing it's Crystal Curse through the Album... and we knew it was crying, yearning to return. At some point, we were so scared of The Album that we wanted to bury it and run away... but something inside of us screamed, we knew we had to finish. Maybe it was the Amulet... releasing the Seventh Hex, trying to find its way home.
